Bladder infection is also known as Cystitis that means inflammation of the Bladder. Some people suffering with the same are at a higher risk, especially women in the age group of 20-50. Hence, it's more important for women to be hygienically fit because bacterial growth occurs only in an unhealthy and dirty area. This is not a contagious or a transferable disease, therefore, one should not keep the infected person in isolation. The bacterium that causes infection in human body is E.coli which survives on human faeces.
One surprising part of the bladder infection is that they mostly occur in newlywed brides, either during or soon after marriage. This is because this infection can also get triggered while the couple is indulging in the sexual activity; hence, this is also one reason why these infections are also called “Honeymoon disease”.
