Lets take another blast at the fat loss diets on the market!

Do not get me wrong, if you are coming to this article looking for a way to lose weight, you will find it here!

But you will also find me blasting apart the garbage fat loss diets that are on the market! Why?

Because this type of diet does not work!! Period!

Now what do I mean when I say this type of diet does not work? And I ask that question because I know..... I just know there are people reading this article saying..... "Oh No YOU ARE WRONG they do wor! I know because I lost 25 pounds on my diet!"

Well you may have and goody good for you...... But if I were a gambling man I would wager you ALSO put it all back on and MORE!

This is called "Yo Yo Dieting and fat loss diets are the cause!

They may help you lose the weight, and they may not, but either way I can promise you that 9.99999999 times out of 10 you put the weight on again and probably about 3-5 more pounds then you had before you started.

And there are a whole lot of reasons for that, of which I do not have the time in this article to go into detail on, however the two main reasons why you put the weight back on are:

1) The

y are a quick fix and not something you can stick with for life

2) They promote unhealthy weight loss, which results in lean muscle mass loss, which is bad because muscle burns fat!

Ok lets talk about the Low Fat / High Carbohydrate fat loss diets on the market.....

You guessed it bad bad bad!!!

Why? 3 Main Reasons:

1) These types of diets restrict the intake of healthy fats and protein, which results in the loss of your lean muscle mass, which results in your bodies metabolism slowing down, which results in your body not being able to burn as many calories, which results in your body packing these excess calories on as FAT BABY!!!

2) Way way way too high in carbohydrate, which SPIKES your blood sugar level way way way up, which then turns on the good ol' Fat Storing Hormone Insulin, which does what?? Starts storing everything you eat as fat!!!

3) And if ALL of this were not bad enough, these types of programs restrict the amount of healthy fat (yes some fat is healthy) you eat, which makes you very very hungry!! And we all know what happens when we get very very hungry, we eat!!! Oh Ya!!

Ok so now we understand why this type of fat loss diet is a no go, so what should you do?

Part one of the truth about fat loss diets I told you to go find a program if you need help that is based on healthy eating! Good advice! Basically to lose your fat and keep it off you need to eat a healthy diet consisting or all the food groups, watch your portion sizes, and eat 5-6 smaller meals/ snacks a day and move as much as you can.
