Poor Choices For Stomach Fat Loss Exercise Programs

Exercise programs can be grueling, painful and often disappointing when it comes to 3 weeks down the track. Even the most diligent exerciser can suffer the consequences of not getting any results due to poor exercise choices.

To give you an idea of some of the more common mistakes people make when choosing an exercise program, I'm going to give you an example of a bad-choice program with the goal of losing stomach fat:

No warmup - WRONG - a general warmup is essential when performing any physical exercise as it helps to release fluid to lubricate your joints and prepares your muscles for hard work. 30 situps - WRONG - Sit ups are a poor choice to help you lose stomach fat. Not only are they ineffective at burning fat, they can also be dangerous to your back and might cause you injuries. 20 minute bike ride - WRONG - Most people think that riding a bike or running on a treadmill for long periods of time is an effective way to burn fat. This is simply false. The best way to get good fat loss and weight loss results is to perform higher intensity cardiovascular circuits that boost your basal metabolic rate. No cool-down - WRONG - Just like warming up, cooling down is also an important stage in any exercise program. It helps the toxins released during exercise to flush out of your system faster than if you stop straight away. A 10 minute stretch is sufficient.

OK, so this is an example of a poor choice exercise program to help you lose stomach fat. Whay then is going to give you "flat stomach success"?
