The Post-Workout Hydrator: Cilantro Celery Cucumber Juice Recipe & Fresh Thai Coconut Water
* I n g r e d i e n t s *
— 1 Thai Young Coconut (Coconut Water)
— 1 bunch Cilantro
— 1/2 head Celery
— 1 Cucumber*
*unpeeled if organic, peeled if inorganic
* P r e p a r a t i o n *
— 1) Open young coconut to get coconut water out ~ watch this video if you need help: http://bit.ly/u9Q4j
— 2) Run the rest of the ingredients through your Breville juicer, or whatever the best juicer is for you. http://JUICERS.life-regenerator.com
— 3) Blend vegetable juices & coconut water together, adding ice if desired, and enjoy!

— I want to motivate you to exercise more! Go out for a walk & carry dumbbells w/ you! 5, 8 or 10 pounders! All my bones & muscles will have to strengthen up as if I'm 20 pounds heavier! For those who are overweight, look at the bright side— your muscles hiding underneath your fat are already quite strong from carrying all that excess weight around all this time!
— So now...alkalize & detoxify your body with green juices; energize your cells with fruit! Keep on moving! Then, when the excess fat falls off you'll already have nice strong muscles underneath!
— During your walk, stop where you can & do some quick lunges to really pump the oxygen through your cells & to strengthen & tone up your entire body!
— I encourage you to not look at exercise as "exercise," but as a FUN ACTIVITY! It was originally a fun activity for all of us, but society has programmed many into thinking its a difficult chore...but once you get moving you'll remember how good it feels & how fun it is! ;-) So just do it!
— Next, make a point of incorporating fun, energizing activities into your daily routine as a PRIORITY! But it is VITAL that you schedule 1-2 days of rest per week! You won't make progress otherwise! Usually, 1 day of rest is enough, but for those weeks where you trained harder, give yourself 2. Rest, unwind, relax & rehydrate your cells with green juices...but only consume a little bit of fruit...and then just be chill... ;)
— I feel that fruit was & is meant to be the most predominate food of mankind. I know that there are lots of different theories out there, even within the raw food world & that some theories can get overly complicated & restrictive. You'll hear health teachers say things like, "well, you shouldn't eat bananas because they are hybridized." But then innocent people like yourself get turned off by healthy food, get confused about what to eat & then just go on eating cheeseburgers or whatever, as that is what you're used to doing.
— SO...I instead want you to get the overall essence here:
BANANAS ARE BETTER THAN CHEESEBURGERS!
...and if you get that my friend...then you're already half-way there!
— So after any kind of workout I have a nice, alkalizing green juice full of amino acids to aid muscle repair! Straight-up amino acids are superior to proteins found in animal products, as my body would just have to break those down into amino acids first anyways! I'd rather my body use its energy to REPAIR, CREATE & DETOXIFY my healthy cells! Everyone likes a car that runs efficiently...so why wouldn't you want your body to as well? Why give your car gasoline it had to work at to break down & be able to use? It doesn't make any sense...IMHO. ;)
— Cilantro is good to purify the blood & remove heavy metals!
— Celery alkalizes tissues, softens them up & its sodium content encourages nutrients to penetrate your cell membranes.
— Cucumbers are full of electrolytes & keep the kidneys flushed & your cells hydrated!
