With spring just around the corner, sunshiny days are among us and along with the sunny weather, comes brighter moods.
" It is definitely a source of energy, the sun brightens my day," said Raymond Navarro who works in San Luis Obispo and was out enjoying the sunshine on his lunch break.
But is it all in our heads or does the sunshine really make us feel better?

" I think your state of mind is the most important thing. If you can wake up to a not so gloomy day, you yourself will not be so gloomy," said Navarro.
Don't let your psyche cast a shadow of a doubt, there actually is scientific evidence, the sunshine makes you feel better.
" Sunlight definitely has a beneficial effect on the body from a physiologic stand point as well," said Dr. Randall Silver, a family practice physician in San Luis Obispo.
